Bentsen-Rio Grande Primitive Campground

The Bentsen - Rio Grande Primitive Campground is located in the beautiful Texas town of Mission, and is a great spot for an authentic southern escape. Onsite, campers can expect great hiking, biking, birding, scenic viewing and stargazing. Just beyond the campground are a number of excellent attractions for visitors and locals alike to enjoy. Some camper favorites include: the McAllen Nature Center, Old Hidalgo Pumphouse Museum, World Birding Center, Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park and the National Butterfly Center. There's also the La Lomita Mission, Mission Historical Museum and the The Butterfly Garden At Oleander Acres.
