Catfish Cove Campground

The Catfish Cove Campground is located in the easy-going Texas town of Mathis, and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Onsite, travelers can look forward to fishing, boating, hiking and wildlife viewing. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground, including the Lake Corpus Christi State Park and the Lipantitlan State Historic Site, and many visit the neighboring town of Corpus Christi for sites like Padre Island for fun picnics on the sand, fishing, jet skiing and surfing. There's also the Texas State Aquarium, Mustang Island State Park, USS Lexington and the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center.
