Fort Running Bear

Fort Running Bear is located in the beautiful town of Mountain Home, Idaho and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Onsite, travelers can take advantage of excellent wildlife viewing, mini golf, horseshoes and group breakfasts. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the Mountain Home Historical Museum, historic Silver City, the Mountain Home Reservoir, Snake River Canyon Overlook and the Canyon Creek Produce specialty shop. There's also the Desert Canyon Golf Course, the Bruneau Dunes State Park, CJ Strike Reservior and Wildlife Managment Area, Three Island State Park and the Soldier Mountain Ski Area. And of course, campers can expect great local pubs and eateries to enjoy.
