Hackberry Campground

The Hackberry Campground is located in the beautiful town of Canyon and is a great place for a quiet and relaxing Texas vacation. Campers can enjoy a number of excellent attractions just beyond the campground including the Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Panhandle-Plains Historic Museum, Palo Duro Riding Stables and the Lighthouse Trail for excellent hiking and scenic viewing. Other great attractions and activities include: the Palo Duro Zipline Adventures, Elkins Ranch, Jeep tours, the Pioneer Amphitheater and Tex Randall. For the nature-enthusiast, the Buffalo Lake National Wildlife Refuge is a definite win, as is the Goodnight Memorial Trail.
