Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA

The Holbrook/Petrified Forest KOA is located in it's namesake, and is a great spot for exploring the many beautiful sights of Arizona, especially the monuments and the state's historical icons. Campers can look forward to the breathtaking sights of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert National Park. Visitors can also walk around the rim of the meteor crater less than an hour west of the campground. Many take day trips to the Grand Canyon, canyon de Chelly and Monument Valley. The Hubbell Trading Post (a historic site) is located on the Navajo reservation and is a great place to explore local culture and support Arizona artisans, so it tends to be packed with eager campers. Overall, stargazing is probably the one activity that every type of camper takes advantage of!
