A famous landmark in the Smokey Bear Ranger District, Monjeau Lookout was constructed as part of the Civilian Conservation Corps project. The site is perfect for the adventure lover with its dirt surfaces and steep, rocky steps steeped in history. There's so much of Alto to see around the lookout, creating a stellar environment for nature viewing and backpacking.
