Mountain Oak Campground

The Mountain Oak Campground is located in the Angeles National Forest and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing west coast camping vacation. The campground is just northwest of the Los Angeles metro area and offers a scenic and relaxing spot for wildlife viewing, hiking and biking. Plus, it's at an elevation of over 6,400 feet, so it's also well-known for it's gentle weather and gorgeous views. Activities and Amenities Travelers can look forward to plenty of fresh air and wide open spaces for mountain biking, wildlife viewing, bird-watching and the lake is primarily fed by snow run off and neighbored by grass and sandy beaches.
