Oasis State Park

Just north of Portales New Mexico is the regional beauty of the Oasis State Park. It is set among cottonwood trees, shifting sand dunes and a small fishing lake. Although fishing is the park's main attraction, also look forward to excellent hiking trails, mountain biking trails, picnic areas, and a peaceful shady campground and an abundance of birds.
