Overland Trail Campground

The Overland Trail Campground is located in the picturesque town of Fort Davis, and is a great place for an authentic Texas vacation. Campers can look forward to a host of activities just beyond the campground including: the Fort Davis National Historic Site, Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute, Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center, sleeping Lion Mountain and Botanical Gardens and the Wild Rose Gallery. Among these attractions, campers can look forward to excellent scenic viewing, hiking, biking and stargazing. Apart from these spectacular outdoor attractions, campers can take advantage of the area's great local eateries, the David Mt.
