Picacho / Tucson NW KOA

Just down the road from the beautiful and historic Picacho Peak is the Picacho/Tucson NW KOA campground; travelers flock to this park each year for its abundance of outdoor and historical wonders. Campers can look forward to a number of great trails for hiking, biking and ATV tours, as well as acres upon acres of land for wildlife viewing and birding. When you visit, look out for various species of birds, coyotes, snakes and other animals. You can also look forward to fresh air and clear skies perfect for stargazing. Just outside of the campground lies a number of other attractions including the Casa Grande Ruins Monument, the Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch, Saguaro National Park, the International Wildlife museum and Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum. You can also expect great golfing, dining and casinos nearby.
