Santa Fe Nat'l Forest / Jemez Falls Campground

The Jemez Falls Campground is located in a stunning ponderosa pine and forest area to the east of the East Fork Jemez River. Look forward to amazing sights and fresh air, but be prepared for chilly night. Jemez Falls is the largest waterfall among the Jemez mountains and it is close to the camp site. The Valles Caldera National Preserve, the hot springs at Jemez Springs and Bandelier National Forest are nearby attractions. La Cueva is the nearest town, and there you can find convenience stores for supplies and various local eateries and restaurants. You can also enjoy river and stream fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and picnicking at this park. Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis, and there are only a few amenities such as: picnic tables, Rv hookups, water and fire rings.
