Shady Oaks Riverside RV Retreat

Shady Oaks Riverside TV Retreat is located at Buchanan Dam and is a great place for an outdoor vacation. The dam is one of the few lakes that has sandy beaches and a sandy bottom for great swimming, and that's why thousands flock there year after year to vacation. Campers can look forward to hours spent lounging on the shores, jet skiing, swimming, and boating, or enjoy a number of great attractions just beyond the campground. Just a short drive away are sites like the Black Rock Park, Longhorn Caverns State Park, Vanishing Texas River tours and the Inks Lake State Park. Travelers can also enjoy the nearby Reveille peak Ranch, Sweet Berry Farm as well as a plethora of great, local eateries for meals after long days by the water. There's also a number of urban activities in the area, such as golf courses, art galleries, wineries and local event and festivals.
