The Blanco Settlement

The Blanco Settlement is located in the beautiful town of Blanco, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. The campsite is located on the banks of the Blanco River and is a perfect spot for fishing, rafting, canoeing and kayaking, as well as stargazing and sunset viewing. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as the Old Blanco County Court, Market Days held on the 3rd Saturday of each month and the Willow City Loop which is a breathtaking spot that's perfect for scenic drives, jogging, dog walking, picnicking and stargazing or sunset viewing. There's also golf courses, the Exotic Resort Zoo, Real Ale Brewing Company, Texas Hill Vineyard and the CN Stars Horse Training and Trail Rides. Several parks and lakes are close to the campground, so travelers can look forward to hiking, biking, boating, canoeing, kayaking or fishing among the Blanco and Perdenales State Parks, Comal River and Guadelupe River. For the adventure-seeker, the Blanco Lavender Festival is an excellent event to visit for, and there's also plenty to do and see in the neighboring cities of Austin, San Antonio and New Braunfels.
